Steve's Bio

Steve Marcio was born and raised in the Chisago Lakes area, and now resides in Zimmerman, MN, with his wife Carol, and his son Tommy. He has performed in many theater productions, and was lead vocals in a band for many years.

Steve placed 1st in the “Contest of the Kings” at the Mall of America in 2007. He was the winner of the 2005 “You be the Judge” Elvis contest at the Paramount Theater in Austin, MN. Steve has done many private parties, dinner shows, car shows, and casinos. Steve has been on KARE 11 Saturdays with Belinda Jensen, and was featured on a segment of the “Out and About” show on WCCO in February, 2007. In May 2006 he performed at the Minnesota Rock-N-Roll Hall of Fame at the Medina Ballroom. In March 2007, Steve performed at the Owens Theatre in Branson Missouri, and won 1st place in their “Ultimate Elvis Contest”. He was a finalist at the Elvis Explosion in LaCrosse in 2008. Steve and Tommy perform for “Cruising with the King” on Royal Caribbean cruise lines.

Steve has been told on several occasions from people in the audience, that if they close their eyes they would think that Elvis himself was singing to them.

Steve is a family man, and his family participates in his shows, by running sound, lights, and promotion. His son, Tommy, also performs in many shows as the young Elvis. Tommy is 20 years old. In 2006, during a family vacation to Graceland, Steve and Tommy recorded a CD at Sun Studio in Memphis.

Steve has always admired and respected Elvis’ music, and shows this in his tribute to Elvis called “Remembering the King".

Tommy's bio

Tommy Marcio is a 2nd generation Elvis Tribute artist in his family’s show called “Remembering The King”. He is 20 yrs. old. When Tommy takes the stage he is a crowd favorite. In March 2007, he performed as a special guest at the Owens Theatre in Branson, Missouri, during an “Ultimate Elvis Contest”. In 2006, during a family trip to Graceland, he recorded a CD with his dad at Sun Studio in Memphis. He has performed as a special guest at the Contest of the Kings at the Mall of America in 2006 and 2007. He had the honor of being invited to perform at the Medina ballroom in July of 2008 with Betty Rydell. He competed in the Elvis Explosion in LaCrosse in 2008 and 2009. He was awarded the "Spirit of Elvis" award both years. He was also featured on an episode of "Life to the Maxx" on WCCO. He performs for “Cruising with the King” on Royal Caribbean cruise lines. He is now enrolled at Anoka Ramsey Community College in Cambridge, MN.
